Job description

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with strong experience in building scalable web applications using Django, and working closely with React-based frontends. If you’re someone who can also handle frontend tasks when needed, that’s a big plus.

🔧 Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Django / Django REST Framework
Build and integrate APIs consumed by React web applications
Work with databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and optimize queries
Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver smooth, performant user experiences
Ensure code quality, security, and scalability
Participate in system design, debugging, and performance improvements

🧠 Requirements

Strong experience with Python & Django
Hands-on experience integrating Django backends with React frontends
Solid understanding of REST APIs
Experience with relational databases
Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows

⭐ Nice to Have

Ability to work on frontend (React, HTML, CSS, basic UI work) when required
Experience with Docker, CI/CD, or cloud platforms
Startup or product-based development experience
